Chas Blankenship is a recent graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. His poetry has appeared in HUMID. His fiction has appeared in Crab Fat Magazine. His non-fiction has appeared in Carve Magazine. He was a 2015 recipient of SFA’s T.E. Ferguson Creative Writing Scholarship and was nominated for the AWP Intro Journals Project in 2015. He was also a panelist at the 2015 Sigma Tau Delta International Conference held in Minneapolis, MN.
He is currently working on revisions to “The Book of IIM,” an experimental science fiction novel/hypertext and “Our Portraits Sketched through Amber Waves,” a collection of sestina poetry. His forthcoming work will include the novella “Déjà Me” and a second collection of poetry titled “This is a Song.”
